The chorus commemorating "12·9" was  held in the conference hall of the International Exchange Center at 7:00 p.m. on December 8. There were 13 colleges (faculties) participating in the competition.
After more than a month of hard rehearsal and careful preparation, the chorus of IBF sang the song "Yi qin'e · Lou Shan Guan", which won the audience's warm applause and enthusiastic cheers, and left a deep impression on the audience and judges. In the end, IBF won the second prize.

The 12·9 movement is also known as the 12·9 Anti Japanese and national salvation movement. On December 9, 1935, thousands of students from Peking held a demonstration against the autonomy of North China, against Japanese imperialism, and demanded to preserve the territorial integrity of China, setting off a new upsurge of Anti Japanese national salvation.
