IBF passes the mid-term inspection of QAA for global quality certification

On May 12, 2023, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the UK announces on its official website that the International Business Faculty(IBF)of Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai passes the mid-term inspection of QAA's global quality certification. 

IBF has been awarded with QAA Global Quality Certification since April 16, 2020, becoming one of the first six colleges in the world to obtain the QAA Global Quality Certification, and also the first college in mainland China obtaining the QAA Global Quality Certification. According to QAA regulations, mid-term inspection is required after 2 years of certification. IBF submitted the mid-term inspection report and supporting materials in October 2022. The mid-term inspection report mainly sorts out and summarizes the progress of good practices, the implementation effect of action plans, and the implementation effect of teaching quality assurance measures.  

After reviewing the mid-term inspection report and supporting materials submitted by IBF, the QAA Certification Committee concludes that IBF has further promoted good practices; effectively implemented the action plan and achieved good results; the guarantee of teaching quality is strong, and the quality of talent cultivation has been improved. The summary conclusion drawn by the QAA Certification Committee is that IBF is making satisfactory progress, and IBF can continue to use the QAA Accreditation logo.

The passing of mid-term inspection is a full affirmation of the work of the IBF by QAA, indicating that IBF has achieved further results in improving the quality of talent cultivation and highlighting international characteristics.
